friend fest branding
I created the branding identity for Friend Fest, a Los Angeles summer music festival centered around celebrating friendship and nature. *student work*
I wanted to make a logo and pattern that truly showed the blend of friendship. The sections themselves are diverse, but beautifully come together as a whole. Additionally, each illustrated element represents patterns and shapes found in nature.
Outdoor advertising can both blend in and stand out from the Los Angeles environment. Custom mural work supports the energy of Friend Fest, while the window display effectively entices passersby to learn more about the event.
Products are an extension of the branding, utilizing multiple parts of the pattern in each item. I wanted these to excite festival goers before and during the weekend but also act as souvenirs that remind them of the good memories.
The website previews the full friend fest experience. The pages seamlessly flow from one to the next, helping users navigate the site easily.
Event signage and photo opportunities immerse festival-goers in the branding while at the event. This provides consistency through every touch point they interact with.
I was excited to make the transition of the event from day to night using neon signs. These bright lights keep the energy going and fill the environment with color.
